Many people have been concerned about John Crawford and his dog Mateo. Update reported that one vendor said he had a home just before Christmas. It was true. He had a trailer in valley with no electricity from before Christmas until after New Year’s Day, two weeks.
Now he is back to Venice and sets up tables at a local coffee shop on Ocean Front Walk every morning and works two days for Vivian, a vendor on OFW, who writes on rice. He is still looking for a place to live. He has neither phone nor answering service.
He says he has a different mindset now or at least is working on it and refuses to sit with a piece of cardboard in his hand and a cup. He wants work.
