Kari P of Oxford…I second your complaint about dog poop in empty trash cans!If I don’t get to my cans on Monday morning before the person dumps his or hers dog poop, I’m stuck with it for a week and it stinks!Please show some neighborhood consideration and take you poop to your own place! I have mentioned this before in the news, but it keeps on happening!Obviously these people don’t get the triangle news….or they just don’t give a damn.

Mike D of Oxford …Not sure about the car below, but the cars with the pink mustaches are actually part of a rideshare program called Lyft which started in San Francisco and has recently come to LA.  It’s a neat idea, sort of a poor man’s taxi, and helps to encourage carpooling between complete strangers (they of course do background checks on all their members before they can participate).  They even have an extra insurance policy that covers drivers for $1 million in damages in case any accidents occur.  Check them out at: http://www.lyft.me/drivers.

Thanks for noting in the Triangle Update the other day about the block captain’s meeting by the way, I had not heard about it from any other sources this time around.  I did make it there last night and got to talk shop with one of the helicopter pilots, pretty neat stuff.
