A public hearing is scheduled next Tuesday, July 16, on a new sign district that would allow 371,000 sq. feet of digital and super graphic signage at LAX for commercial products and services. SB31 is a bill still pending in the California state Assembly that would allow an untold number of new digital and other large, brightly-lit signs advertising such products as beer and fast food along freeways near the proposed Farmers Field in downtown L.A.
