It was carnival time at the Venice Beach Park just west of Ocean Front Walk (OFW). There was food, drinks (soft), handouts, a band, and more types of vendors to add to the vendors on Ocean Front Walk. One of the favorite amusements was the Bubble Rollers at $8. It produced happy, quiet kids.
