Sidewalks, Alleys Need More Work

zbrushI

Sidewalks are looking better but.  Look at your sidewalk and see if a wheel chair can get by for starters.  Ask yourself, if someone stumbled and fell into your brush, would they hurt themselves.   Would someone get harmed from an overhanging thorny bush, a thorny bush protruding over the sidewalk?

No one has been reported yet in Triangle or any other place in Venice to my knowledge except the canals which have been given notice by the City.  No one wants a notice from or law suit from the City, ACLU, or from a neighbor who has hurt himself because of negligence.

“One fringe benefit to the Oxford Triangle is walking the neighborhood with the nice 58-inch wide sidewalks,” wrote Peter Griswold of Oxford.  “A growing problem is from some bushes, like thorny bougainvillea, that are dangerous and leave room for only one person to pass.”

Alleys

Thatcher-Yale alley still has the chair, mattress, and ping-pong table.  Can one assume that since objects have not been moved, dumpers have found a nice, convenient place to dump?
