Wolf Seeburg and his camera know how to find the LA sunsets. This one was taken the 23rd of January.

We have discovered a serious problem in the Howard-Dickson alley…we don’t know who or what is contributing but the alley is littered with dog feces, specifically near the new, white two-story house. There is a spot near the telephone pole that has countless poops, and is growing into a mountain. We initially thought it was just our back wall but when we strolled down the alley toward Oxford we saw many piles. We plea with our neighbors please pick up your dog waste, it’s not only a health hazard but simple, common courtesy, and respect for our neighborhood and neighbors.

I want to comment on the plastic bag ban. I’ve seen more theft because of this ban than ever before. When the checker asks if you would like a bag for 10 cents, customers who say no, and can walk out of the store, carrying other items not paid for, without a bag, and no one is checking.
Nancy Poertner …
I really enjoyed DeDe’s story; very hopeful – thanks for sharing!

Largest old car show in America. Only rules are all cars must have been built by 1964 and no Mustangs allowed. If you love old cars this is worth a watch.

Wolf Seeburg … Ref: the bathrobes, trenchcoats
It’s ART obviously !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bonnie Barrett …
Thank you DeDe.
I well remember the Marina bypass. In the early 1970s we believed that our house on Stanford would be sacrificed. My life would have been so different if the house my grandfather, Max Balfour built and I still love had been buried under a river of asphalt.
Heather Kahler…
I absolutely have the greatest respect and admiration for DeDe. She is amazing. She is such an ads kicker and tireless warrior! Go DeDe!!!!
Bathrobes. Paper machete. The work of an artist parent.
Ha. I recognized it immediately and his house!
They are a very wonderful family.

I have been complaining about the Annex for years now, and actually arranged a clean-up with both the VNC and the Chamber of Commerce. It was messy a week later. They’ve been asked to put trash bins on the sidewalk, which would eliminate much of the problem, which they could empty on Monday trash pickup day. Our postal workers aren’t so overworked they couldn’t do that. It amazes me that the inside is also disgusting. Hard to believe they don’t even pick up their own lot. They also need to regularly trim the bougainvillea which grows fast and has major thorny limbs jutting over the sidewalk. I have complained numerous times.
I would be good for the VNC to motion an appeal to the authorities, Congress someone, please be responsible.
Everyone in America cleans the trash in their front yard, no matter who put it there. It’s the American way.
