Marina del Rey “Visioning Statement” Open House Saturday, February 15, 10 am to 12 pm and Tuesday, February 18, 6 to 8 pm. Both will be held at Burton W. Chase Park Community Room, 13650 Mindanao Way, Marina del Rey, 90292.
The purpose of the meeting is to show what the Department of Regional Planning (DRP) has envisioned for Marina del Rey for next 20 years. DRP says they have hosted community events to identify ideas and suggestions for what the Marina community would like.
This is the last of a three-step agreement started in April of last year between the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors and the California Coastal Commission to determine planning efforts for the Marina.
The visioning document will be online the week of 10 February at http://planning.lacounty.gov/marina.
