Brooks, 700 block, was mentioned Tuesday night at the VNC meet as being a block bursting with small lot subdivision products. Brooks is zoned RD1.5, and according to one homeowner, the lots are 40 x 100. So they can certainly put two units on each lot. In some instances it looked like, an older house was left, while a new house was built in front. Others contained two separate units. Beachhead this issue has an article by Anthony Castillo called “Boxes Blight Brooks” and half the front page is devoted to photos.
