Radio Shack opened its doors Saturday. Nim Quest, manager of Radio Shack at the corner of Washington and Lincoln in the Walgreen’s Shopping Center, stated it is one of thirty pilot stores in the United States that Radio Shack is starting with a new program called “Do It Together…DIT.”
“We want people to come in with their problems,” Quest said. “We don’t know to what extent the problems are that we can help with because we are just learning. But we can definitely help with a broken phone face or an iPad face or phone problems.”
Quest spoke of the homeless who live on the sidewalk in front of his store. He said he really didn’t want them defecating on his property. He tried to call Pacific Division but got lost with the hold and button transfer system. He also spoke of the cut through traffic which he didn’t appreciate.
