LUPC to Hear Penmar and De Minimis Cases

Land Use and Planning Committee (LUPC) of the Venice Neighborhood Council (VNC) will hear 1740, a small lot subdivision that wants reduced setbacks, reduced passageways, and a reduced lot size. The meet will be at 6:45 pm, Wednesday (June 11) at the Oakwood Recreation Center, 767 California Ave., Venice.

In addition the committee will form a position statement for the Coastal Commission regarding de minimis waivers for eight properties–803-805 Marco Place, 2413 Wilson, 232 E. Carroll Canal, 521 Vernon, 720 Indiana, 520 Broadway, 663 Brooks and 659 Broadway.

Committee will also review cases going before VNC with a de minimis waiver consideration. Those cases are 2512 S. Ocean Ave., 451 E. Sherman Canal, and 321 6th Avenue.
