“This weekend with the help of some outstanding neighbors in the Venice area, we were able to make two burglary arrests,” according to the reporting LA police officer.”
“We believe these two suspected burglars are responsible for more than 10 recent burglaries in the Venice area. We recovered over 100 pieces of victims’ property and have returned most of it to its rightful owners. Some of these owners weren’t even aware they were missing property until we alerted them.
“Without the help of neighbors who called the police when they saw something suspicious, these arrests would most likely not have happened as soon. In order to make our communities safer we need the public input. We encourage you to communicate with your neighbors, get to know as many of them as possible, and start or join a neighborhood watch.”
