So happy to hear some good news!
Loved the spot on Buddy.

I made a screen shot of your “Beware: You are Watched and Targeted” post about the robberies going on and will put it up on phone poles in my neighborhood tomorrow morning.
Also, I think it’s nice to tell people who aren’t from around here that it’s unwise to leave stuff in their car or truck, so they don’t find out the hard way. I said hello to a guy on Saturday who I could tell was not from around here and who ended up leaving a bunch of equipment sitting overnight in the back of the truck. I left him this note Sunday morning.
Hi, I’m the girl from across the street. I noticed you have some equipment in the back of your truck, and I wanted to tell you, this is not a safe neighborhood to leave stuff in your truck and go away. Stuff can disappear fast. There has been a stint of robberies in Venice recently, too. Just wanted to let you know. Hope it’s all okay now.
Comment: What a thoughtful neighbor. Crime in the neighborhood is important to all. Let your neighbors know what is happening. Hand out a flyer, put it on a bulletin board, put it on a post. Not everyone is on Update mailing list. What SLO Pete had to say was very straight forward and makes us all aware that it is not a game. Let’s not help the criminal. Let’s button up the community!!! Great idea Amy!!

Just wanted to report that the front area of my office at 3017 Washington Blvd was hit with graffiti on Wednesday night. Thankfully it was easy to clean up most of it. Lacity.org did respond fast to paint over it. This is what I found on Thursday morning.
