Now you can rent a room at The Ellison, a rent-controlled historic apartment building in Venice, California for just $200 a night thanks to an up-and-coming dog/Airbnb entrepreneur.
It seems that “Maralee,” the dachshund responsible for the illegal listing below, figured out she could make more money from vacationers than long-term tenants.
What does she care if other dogs can’t find affordable housing? Now she can buy more biscuits. We’ve seen how hesitant the City has been to prosecute humans for such unlawful behavior…will it ignore commercial canine operations, too?
