Young homeless resident of 3rd Ave gets creative using the Mayor’s drinking fountain and a cooler box. Mayor Eric Garcetti authorized the fountain on 3rd Ave in Venice to provide fresh water. Since, the residents have surprised all with their fountain innovations. The homeless modified the plumbing so that it will provide water other than for drinking. Sanitation reported the modification several seeks ago.
No LA Sanitation Friday power washing or disinfecting on 3rd Ave Encampment in the last two weeks! Folks are bathing in Ice Coolers and the ave is filthy mess. This was one of the guarantees Bonin and Garcetti promised Venice at the Town Hall meeting and they are all ready reneging on it.
The east side gets power washed twice a week by Public Storage so at least that side is taken care of. Maybe Google should do the same on the west side. They can afford it.
they would have to acknowledge it, then they would need hr to agree on a publicly acceptable approach…. sticking head in the sand w ostrich defense is easier
Where is PETA, etc, when these vagrants are photographed with innocent animals they are obviously unqualified to care for? If they steal anything else that isn’t bolted down or locked up, they likely steal these animals as well.
This picture illustrates how crazy and unsanitary Councilmember Mike Bonin’s and Mayor Eric Garcetti’s policies our to our Marine Environment at Venice Beach. Yes its funny until the Medieval Diseases break out do to the fact this contaminated water flows directly onto our Beach next to a playground. It does NOT go into our sewer system for any kind of filtration.
