9th Annual Muscle Beach Toy Drive and Presentation will be Saturday and Sunday, 5 and 6 December from 10 am to 3 pm at the Venice Recreation Center, 1800 Ocean Front Walk.

Festivities at 1 pm Sunday will include Santa and his Elvettes. Special guests will be Councilman Mike Bonin and Captain Nicole Alberca.

All the toys collected from the following locations by the local merchants will be presented to Captain Nicole Alberca. All toys will then be transported to the police station at Culver for the children’s Winter Wonderland party, the following Saturday. Toys will be given to children 12 December at Winter Wonderland, hosted by LAPD Boosters, from 10 am to 3 pm at LAPD, Pacific Division headquarters, 12312 Culver Blvd, 90066.

Joe Wheatley, who is in charge of collection and festivities at Muscle Beach, mentioned that the 5- and 10-K runners, participating in the race 5 December, were asked to drop off a toy at Muscle Beach too.
