Someone from Time Warner calls you and says he has got to talk with you in your house now regarding laying cable in your area.
This recently happened to a couple on Oxford south of Washington. To verify anyone from Time Warner call 800-892-4357. The smart homeowner started asking questions and the person on the other end could not answer the questions.
The person calling said they were laying fiber optic cable in the area and needed access to the house. The homeowner, after hanging up, called Time Warner and talked to them about it and Time Warner said to use the phone number to verify any worker. Fiber optic cables have already been laid in area.
