What I meant was creating more low income housing should have been the objective from the start.
I don’t support the city hood movement for many reasons. The stakeholders have been people who are constantly seeking to cleanse the city of homelessness, and anyone of color, such as latinos, and african americans. Creating more low income should have been the main objective from the beginning. This flag to me represents oppression. There is a stifling feel to Venice right now. One gets this feeling that the next step is to build a gated community in Venice, and I’ve heard people talking about making Venice Beach a private beach off limits to the public. This is Venice, even the parking is still free if you look for it in the right places. Breathing fresh air in Venice is free. Are the stakeholders going to want to charge for that too?
