Reta M of Triangle …A neighbor in the Triangle lost a set of key. If you found them or know anything about them, please let the Update know at TriangleUpdate@gmail.com. Thank you.
Carolyn R of Venice …What Venice- Abbot Kinney residents need is Preferential Parking NOT Overnight parking. Overnight parking is from 2 – 5 am which will not solve the abuses of parking. Do not be fooled. There really is no parking problems between 2 – 5am but yes it would be a hassle for residents and guests and our overnight guests. The Coastal Commission is NOT deciding anything about preferential parking which sounds like what in fact the residents need for earlier in the evening, or on hot summer week-ends. However PPDs also have to be off set with other available public parking.
I think the diagonal parking is a great fix that could be implemented NEXT week, not some parking structure God knows where that we will get in 5 – 7 years.
Nancy P of Triangle …Please thank Heather for the up-lifting photo, AND for taking care of the Triangle Kittens. We are luckier than most neighborhoods; in the past there has been such a big effort to catch, fix and release. We feed (as do many neighbors) two feral cats from the neighborhood, and have now brought one in our home permanently. Anyway, stories like this are the reason I do love living in this neighborhood.
Thanks for the cheer on this June-Gloom Wednesday,
