First ad-hoc Cityhood committee meeting for the Venice Neighborhood Council (VNC) will be 8 September, 7 to 9 pm, at Extra Storage, 658 Venice Blvd. Guest speaker will be Paul A. Novak, executive officer of Local Agency Formation Commission for the County of Los Angeles, according to Nick Antonicello, chair of the Cityhood committee.
