Is it Venie, the Venquin, who arrives mysteriously before the sign lighting ceremony at Windward and Pacific. No one knows its name or why it comes. But this is its second year. It arrived under suspicious circumstances last year. Is this an annual visit? It appears as a duck out of water but obviously is a sign lighting fan. No Venetian will knock a fan of the sign lighting.

The Fifth Annual changing of the lights on the Venice Sign from white to red and green in celebration of the holidays is tonight, 2 December, from 6 to 9 pm at Windward and Pacific. Windward Avenue east of Pacific Avenue will be closed for the event. Who will be the special guest, other than Venie?
