What’s next? Councilman Bonin delivered a synopsis to constituents of what he and his office accomplished in the first 100 days
1. Repeal of ticketing people at broken meters.
2. Launched an initiative to give technology to firefighters.
3. Proposed moratorium on fracking.
4. Pushed a campaign to bring light rail to LAX.
Bringing light rail to LAX is really big. Technology for firefighters is bringing the department up to date. “No tickets at broken meters” is long overdue and touches each one of us and has been forgotten by all but you. We thank you for all you’ve done.
Now, you have more days to come and the Update would like to give you a list of things “to-do” for Venice.
And Venetians, readers, this is an invite for you to step up to the plate and list your needs and wants for Venice…maybe it is a gripe list, a dream list. Put it in your own words and let’s submit it to Councilman Mike Bonin via the Update in the next issue. We can do this anonymously. Just plain and simple: This is Our List.
