There are only a few days left for the Sleigh and no one wants anyone to miss the event. This article was published 12 November but has been put back to the forefront.
Santa’s Sleigh starts hitting the neighborhoods Monday, 2 December and will keep visiting in the area until Tuesday, 10 December. This is the Los Angeles Police Department, Pacific Division’s way of bringing joy and Christmas cheer to the community. It is put on by the Senior Lead Officers throughout the Pacific Division.
It was started by retired senior lead officer Heidi Llames and has grown and grown in popularity thru the few years it has been occurring. Parents and kids look forward to it as one of the main attractions for the season. The Triangle has a party at the host corner house. Last year Santa didn’t arrive until too late for many little ones but this year it will be at 5 pm.
Please listen for sirens, music and flashing police lights. Santa’s sleigh is equipped with the latest siren and flashing lights. Bring your camera for a shot with Santa. If it is raining, there will be no sleigh, no Santa.
Stop times may vary 15 to 30 minutes. Santa is scheduled to arrive as follows:
