The Venice Neighborhood Council (“VNC”) is collecting new, unwrapped, non-violent toys at various locations in Venice from November 1 through December 5. Then, on Saturday December 7, 2013, the VNC will give the toys away to local kids, during a fun-filled day at Oakwood Recreation Center.
Toys can be dropped off through December 5 at: (1) Abbot’s Habit, 1401 Abbot Kinney Blvd.; (2) Bank of Venice, 80 Windward Ave.; (3) Oscar’s Cerveteca, 523 Rose Ave.; (4) The Talking Stick, 1411 Lincoln Blvd.; (5) the VNC booth at the Venice Farmers’ Market (Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.), intersection of Venice Blvd. and Venice Way; and (6) the VNC Board meeting on November 19, 2013, Westminster Elementary School, 1010 Abbot Kinney Blvd.
The Great Venice Toy Drive seeks more volunteers. Please contact VNC_ToyDrive@VeniceNC.org if you are interesting in helping.
