The Boys & Girls Clubs of Venice is hosting the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Pacific Region Fine Arts Competition from March 15 through March 22. The competition features over 1000 pieces from Club members, ages 6-18 from across the Pacific Region, and are broken into 4 age groups, 9 categories and 1 group project.

“We truly believe in the power of the arts at the Clubs,” said the club’s executive director Monique Brandon. “Seeing the kids grow and flourish under the direction of each art director is truly amazing and the art competition highlights many hours of dedication.”

The National Fine Arts program is a year-round program that encourages artistic expression among Club members ages 6 to 18 through drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media and sculpture displayed at local and regional exhibits.
