As of Tuesday, Ivan Spiegel, co-chair of election committee, said there were 59 candidates and there are 21 offices. One can go to http://empowerla.org/vnc/venice-nc-2014-elections/ to see the candidates and what offices they seek.
Update will run all candidate photos, along with their candidate statements, and office sought as soon as permission is given.
