Linda Lucks, president of the Venice Neighborhood Council (VNC), appeared before the Land Use and Planning Committee (LUPC) Wednesday night to announce that she did not want 320 Sunset case heard by the Land Use and Planning Committee due to perceived impropriety.
Lucks claims she has become aware of perceived impropriety regarding the case both from the applicant and community members. Therefore, she has asked that case not be heard by LUPC but by the Venice Neighborhood Council at its 20 May hearing.
She has further asked that all documents pertaining to 320 Sunset on the VNC website be removed and that Jim Murez, who created and maintains Cityhood.org, remove all documents pertaining to 320 Sunset. Jim Murez is a member of LUPC and is the one who created Cityhood.org. Murez is also running for chair of LUPC and is one assigned to handle 320 Sunset for LUPC.
