The hearing involves an appeal by Thomas Sauer regarding the Director of Planning’s approval pursuant to Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 11.5.7 and the Venice Coastal Specific Plan (Ordinance No. 175,693) of a Specific Plan Project Permit Complianceto legalize the reestablishment of indoor seating and additional outdoor seating at an existing one-story, 1,296-square-foot restaurant (with previously approved 240 square feet of Service Floor Area (SFA) outdoor dining along Ocean Front Walk). The new Service Floor Area is limited to a maximum of 660 square feet with 217 square feet of SFA inside and 443 square feet of Service Floor Area outside.
