Venice Neighborhood Council will be looking at a proposed “Venice Free Ride Program” initiated by George Francisco’s Transportation Committee Tuesday night at the regular VNC meet at 7 pm, Westminster Elementary School, 1010 Abbot Kinney Blvd. (See letter written by Dennis Hathaway,

Committee says it not only provides a necessary and needed community benefit by providing shuttle service within Venice to residents, stakeholders and visitors free of charge, but it specifically addresses the VNC vision goal of “walkability” by reducing the use of cars and providing an alternate, emission-free circulation system.
