Brennan Linder of Presidents Row Association reported that two solicitors ended up attacking a resident in that area. Remember LAMC 42.19 says it is illegal to sell magazines in City. Tell them it is illegal and you are going to call police. Because of the knock-knock burglars, one wants to let knockers know someone is home but that is all. See Brennan Linder’s comments.
The following are Brennan Linder’s comments: Doorbell ringers were active on President’s Row on Monday night and were involved in attacking a resident. There were two males, one white and one Hispanic, under 20, one with long black frizzy hair, both with hoodies. The name ‘Travis’ was used. After being asked to leave the property, they threw rocks at resident and a fight ensued (2 on 1). Another neighbor intervened and broke up fight. LAPD was called. Suspects fled on foot to McDonald’s (Lincoln and Coeur d’ Alene) and then north through alley, past Coeur d’ Alene. I only wish LAPD had caught them!
