The 3rd workshop for Enhanced Watershed Management Plans (EWMP) programs for Santa Monica Bay, Upper Los Angeles River, Ballona Creek, Dominguez Channel, and Marina del Rey will be held March 19 from 9 am to noon, Witherbee Auditorium, Los Angeles Zoo, 5333 Zoo Drive, LA 90027.
The following will be discussed at the workshop
• Program developments since last workshop in November,
• The completion of the Enhanced Watershed Management Plans,
• Proposed methods for water quality improvement by watershed,
• Projected increases to local water supply as a result of rainwater harvesting and stormwater capture, and
• Answers to frequently asked questions.
