This Sunday morning residents in the 300 and 400 blocks of Vernon woke to find their cars’ tires slashed. Most of these cars belong to people who can least afford the expense of a new tire.
I’ve lived on this block since 1989, one resident has lived on the block her sixty plus years, others have lived here longer than I. We all agree, “This had never happened on our block before now.”
Police reports were filed. I hope the police can find the perpetrator.
