Venice Art Crawl, sponsored by the Venice Chamber of Commerce, consists of many “Pop-Up” art galleries throughout Venice. Crawl starts at 6 pm. The Art Crawl, sponsored by the Venice Chamber of Commerce is held every three months on the third Thursday of that month.
George Francisco, member of the chamber, said, “Personally, I think it would be great to have a few more sophisticated, less busy galleries on each crawl–more “neighborhoody.” The Crawl should be unpredictable in keeping with Sunny Bak’s vision for it and it should, in my mind, encompass everything from the commercial galleries to the special event street closures from time to time, to smaller, more sophisticated salon-style events to “ragers.”
