This project appears to be getting done by civil service.
There is obviously lots of labor intensive over built improvements.
The perimeter footing trench was too wide and too deep.
So they had to backfill to grade and then re-compacted.
So they had to use lumber forms instead of soil neat edge form.
So the rebar template has 30% more lumber….and labor.
So the wall forms have 20% more lumber…..and labor.
Then they used a very expensive concrete pump.
When they could have run the pump hose under the fence.
Or they could have run the pump over a cheap wood movable a-frame.
Lots of other expensive methods + equipment not listed here.

Story of Chris Williams … Correction. In the previous Update, the picture was taken by Chris Bedrosian. Chris’ sister, Tisha, was the first VNC president and died not too many years ago.
