(1 August 2019) Summer Concerts at Burton Chase Park are in full swing for Thursdays and Saturdays.
Fourth of July at 9 pm Marina del Rey will start sparkling in the sky in celebration of the adoption of the United States Declaration of Independence. This is sponsored by the County Department of Beaches and Harbors.

This year’s 20-minute display will be presented by Zambelli Fireworks International. Fireworks are shot from a barge across the Marina’s main channel.
Burton Chace Park, located at 13650 Mindanao Way, and Fisherman’s Village, located at 13755 Fiji Way, are premier locations for viewing the pyrotechnic extravaganza.
Spectators at Burton Chace Park can watch the display and listen to synchronized music played over loudspeakers at the park.
Parking: Throughout the Marina. Parking fees in the lots range from $7 to $15.
Transportation: The MDR WaterBus will operate from 11 am to midnight and the Beach Shuttle will run from 10 am to 8 pm, July 4th.
Street Closures: Many streets in Marina will be closed so Beaches and Harbors recommends that people arrive early. (See Street Closure Story.)

Small Craft Harbor Commission will hold a special meet to focus on the Beaches and Harbors’ recreational boating objectives. Meet will be held at 6 pm, 3 March at Burton Chase Park, 13650 Mindanao Way.
All organizations and businesses relating to the ocean are invited to speak and relate their goals, the activities they offer, and ways to increase public access for recreational boating.
The Small Craft Harbor Commission is responsible for making recommendations to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and the Department of Beaches and Harbors concerning issues related to the operation and management of Marina del Rey.
