Note: Sign ordinance was removed from the PLUM agenda for Tuesday, according to
Daisy Mo, planning associate. “We are now shooting for May,” she wrote.
Daisy Mo, City planning associate, reports that the sign ordinance has been scheduled to be heard at PLUM this coming Tuesday, April 29, at 2:30 pm in City Hall room 350. “
“We apologize for the short notice, as this is short notice for us as well — although we have all been anticipating a hearing date for the past several months,” she wrote. “We have been told that this will be a ‘listening session,’, which I believe means that PLUM will likely not take action on this item right now, but will hear testimony as well as Planning’s presentation.
“As a reminder, the topics we will be focusing on in our presentation will be the ones covered in our most recent reports — an overview of the sign ordinance, the related questions around penalties and “rebuttable presumption” signs, and the question of future options for digital off-site signage.”
