The closure of a “special anchorage” will be discussed at a public meeting 20 November from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Burton Chase Park Community Room, 13650 Mindanao Way, 90292, according to United States Coast Guard, District 11.
This proposal was published in May 2014 but due to multiple comments received, they are now holding a public meeting to solicit more comments from stakeholders to inform their decision regarding the proposed closure. Most commenters wanted an immediate, comparable replacement.
