Captain I Nicole Alberca, patrol Captain, will be promoted to Commanding Area for Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Pacific Division, effective 15 March. Present Commanding Area Captain III Brian Johnson will head the LAPD Use of Force Division. Alberca was Commanding Patrol officer for Pacific Division prior.
