The count is 44,000 homeless in Los Angeles County; 1000 in Venice. It is a crisis according to all City and County officials. Something is to be done in January and Councilman Mike Bonin wants to “share those choices with you and get your feedback about how Venice should respond.”
Councilman Mike Bonin says that “in January, the County and the City will unveil strategies to combat homelessness. Progress will require commitments and action from all levels of government, and from all parts of Los Angeles. We will need to make difficult policy choices if we want to end homelessness in Venice, and I want to share those choices with you, and get your feedback about how Venice should respond.
