Just before Memorial Day, taggers destroyed part of the Venice Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on Pacific AveOscars. More than $20,000 has been pledged as a reward for finding the culprit/s.
What about the rest of Venice? There’s tagging everywhere.
We can work to stop this ongoing damage.
LA Graffiti Removal will clean or cover tagging usually within 2 days.
Tagging can be reported three ways I know of:
1) there is an app for reporting that can be downloaded on LA City Services Website.
2) Googling “LA Graffiti Removal” leads to the LA City Services Website where clicking a few buttons lets us report tagging locations.
3) call 311 and speak to an operator.
LA City Council has a standing $2000 reward for information leading to arrest and conviction of people doing this destructive tagging.
We have them tagging on trucks, fences, houses, curbs, posts.

The destruction earlier this year of a mural celebrating Venice Canals that was painted on Kim’s Market at Ocean Ave and Mildred Ave.
