Authorities Tuesday sought the public’s help to find three people involved in the fatal stabbing of a pregnant mother in Venice.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific Division went to 80 Windward Ave. at 9:30 p.m. Monday in response to a report of a fight and an assault with a deadly weapon, said LAPD Lt. John Radtke.

Arriving officers saw the mortally injured woman being held by witnesses. She was treated by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics before being taken to a hospital, where she died, Radtke said.

She was identified by the coroner’s office as Jasmine Angelica Preciado, 22, of Inglewood. Family members told NBC4 that she was three months pregnant and the mother of a 3-year-old girl.

Police are looking for two women and a man who left the scene traveling east on Windward Avenue in a dark-colored SUV. Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call LAPD West Bureau Homicide detectives at 213-382-9470, or 1-877-LAPD-247.

22-year-old Jasmine Preciado died from stab wounds after getting into a fight in the Venice lot Monday night, police tell the station. Family says Preciado was four months pregnant and had a three-year-old daughter.

Los Angeles police say they are searching for two women and a man in connection with the crime. Investigators were seen hauling away a dark SUV found about a mile from the attack they say may have been driven by the suspects.

A source told the station surveillance video captured the moments before the attack. In the video, a group of people are seen gathered around a dark SUV. At one point, someone tries to walk away from the group.

That’s when another person grabs that person from behind while the others rush towards the two until they’re out of frame.

A few seconds later, someone in a light shirt is seen running to the front of the SUV holding a shiny object.

“She loved her daughter. She’s going to be missed. She was such a happy person,” the victim’s cousin Christina Aguillon told the station, crying.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at LAPD’s West Bureau Homicide Division at (213) 382-3470
